I think id 2×2 that one and put a more circulated one in its place. After time it will loose any red remaining. Nice coin!!!
Did you try zooming all the way in when taking photo? When i got my microscop it did that same thing untill i zoomed in. then the photo opened up...
When using those microscopes you hav to zoom all the way in. Not a doubled die. In my opinion.
