This is probably one of my best pickups in the last couple years--the 1882 Snow-6. It has 4 "1" digits struck into the necklace. In case you're...
It's a nice RPD, but with the corrosion...I'm also unsure. Still it's an L so people would pay something for it, maybe $15-20?
Just for fun, I scaled the two images to a similar size and put both S's together to compare the size/shape--the serifs are definitely a different...
Yeah--of the little I know about Morgan $1, the CC isn't even close: [IMG]
I just think pictures are necessary to even begin a conversation on this coin. :)
Yeah...congrats on your find!!! That means it's also worth more than the standard small date proof! :D
I'm sure there are catalogues for every country. My Siegs covers Scandinavia, which is all I collect from Europe.
But DDO-012 is a non-proof large date--and your proof is a small date. I'm pretty certain about that--I've cherrypicked quite a few of these. :)
I'm no expert on Lincoln cents, but it appears to be a DDO--and it's a small date as well! :D I can't find a listing for this one...maybe Coop...

I would too--or even option C: cherrypick my own. :D
Right! That's what got my attention in the first place--both are attributed on the holder, and both are graded MS63 BN. But, based on what I'm...
I think A. definitely shows high-point wear. If I put B. under my macro lens, I might find wear too. I'll add that both coins were graded MS.
I came across these two IHC obverses--they were given the same exact grade from the same TPG. What would you grade them to be--A. vs. B.? I...
The pointed mark between the E and T is from a clash with the feathers on the obverse.
Or even both--impurities stuck between clad layers could produce gas/bubbling in the intense heat of a fire--I've seen these before. I doubt it...
Hmm...maybe. :) On the '75 I posted, notice how the "doubling" is on the base of CANADA, while on the left of the "19"? On a doubled die, I...
Well...something could be said about pricing of some world coins in the US. I have picked up both older & rare European coins in the US that would...
