great coins joe, call me old fashioned but there's something about the empire coinage that always has me suckered
i have found a few in my change, especially the maklouf head small 50p coins which have a ridge on the edge as though they are two coins stuck...

depends really which coin you want, if for instance you find a french 1 liard in good condition and you really want the coin then there is no harm...
