In my opinion, I think that 03-O is about the perfect look for a XF half. I think that coin is about a 10 on my eye appeal scale. :yes:

When I first looked at the coin I said 40 details but in a 35 holder because PCGS hates dark coins.

You're not the only one that has noticed this. TPG's have been very lax in grading halves. I've see F15's in VF30 holders and XF40's in VF25...
By the way, that's a nice better date coin and looks pretty un-tampered with. One of my favorite date/mm combo's
