Fine.. you win :D
Could even be from whoever put the notes in a band. The paper bands sometimes get stamped with a date, lot number, etc. so Loomis or whatever...
Lol, so you DID go for both. Good stuff! Nice toning in the GSA holder, but I still prefer the gold. Thanks for sharing.
Well, obviously it took a bit more work to clean around the date in the first image. Obviously can see the areas around the devices, but even the...
Looks original to me. Not often they come around that nice in circulation. Set break?
Cattle branding should be illegal :p Very cool!
So this insinuates they place the coin in the aluminum, then add the detail to it?

Pretty sad. Read it last night. Based on the article, it seems Mr. Pouloglou is worried they will be melted for bullion value. The pictures show...
Very easy choice - your NGC submission is certainly the nicer coin. The die wear striations on the PCGS are a turn off for me. I put MS66 5FS...
Id say take another slab if you have one, and weigh it. Subtract the known weight of the coin inside, and you'd be pretty darn close.
I’m so cool, I use my Facebook to talk badly about Facebook
