I've seen many graded 66 plus with the O and other letters displaying what look like bag marks. This makes no sense to me.
The O seems to be the first thing I look at when I view a wheat cent. Why is it so disregarded by the TPG's and most graders. Do they/you not...
I do. I don't care if it's a result of the minting process. When did you old timers/veterans decide NOT to base a grade on a coin's appearance?...
I know it's extremely difficult for me to. If I do, the grade is certainly going in the bad direction!
I've been voting according to how I think the TPG would grade (high). I can't for the life of me see how ANYBODY could grade this one higher than...

I was just pointing out that if your description were totaly accurate you'd have yourself a better than 65 coin. What are its flaws?
This answers my question. I thought that's what you were saying. I agree.
So what's keeping it from a 67? Got any better pics?
What a joke... I've mostly based my guesses on what the TPG would assign for a grade and of course, they're a grade or two higher than my...
"Today the pops for high grade nmoderns are growing at an exponential rate as compared to what they were 5 years ago." You mean more are being...
Well if RLM's cents are any indication of TPG vs. "our" standards than I'd have to say they are over grading most of the time (based on the photos...
