I found these today and all three of them look different to me. The first one looks like a small date. The second one looks like a large date....
I put some arrows in to show the deteriorating lines and tried to lighten up the photo.
I think this is die deterioration but, could this be mechanical doubling?

Never tried to use acetone before. Should I get fingernail polish remover and use it? Will it hurt the coin any?
