Just thought I would post a picture of this die break error on the obverse. Most of the one's I find are smaller than this.

The designer's initials on the reverse of this 1989 penny look different than the other one's I have seen. Also, lots of scratches on the reverse...

The "2" in the date appears to be the only digit that has a "shelf like" look to it. The rest of the date looks normal. Is this a case of machine...
I hope I answer this right. It came from the mint in their two roll set ( one P and one D). Not in one of the proof sets with all the coins.
