some folks will list anything on ebay . this coin has been heavily damaged from acid or severe environmental damage.
looks more like MD or a plating issue. this is common on our copper plated zinc cents.
this could be die detoration and all coins struck by the worn out die would be almost totally identical because the damage would be on the die.
