I'd go XF-45 on the 1943 Steelie.
The best place for the Mint to hype these next issues is on the home shopping network coin collecting shows. Lots of super hyped pretty much...
I stopped buying the overpriced junk that the US Mint produces decades ago. As far as wanting gold and silver bullion coins, I buy the classics.
Old school F-15, anything higher reflects grade inflation. Obverse wear into the Liberty, reverse 1/2 - 2/3 buffalo horn. You know the drill.
These two future offerings from the mint totally lack the grace, charm, and tradition of the cherished designs of the past. Utterly disgusting.
Thanks for the interesting post, I learned a new vocabulary word today, pareidolia. Now I can finally stop playing those old Beatles' records...
Sorry, but hasn't the buyer expressed a sentiment of naiveté?
A very nice coin you have there. That coin grades higher than XF in my opinion. I weigh in at certainly AU-53/55. I'd be delighted to have that...
Was there ever any mention as to the weight of the 1924 double eagle in question ? I'll admit, based on my collection of St. Gaudens, this coin,...
AU-58 as well.
I was offered the Ebay coupon, one has to be "invited" by Ebay to receive it. Unfortunately one can not use the $25 coupon to purchase coins or...
This is my favorite series and I have an AU example of this exact date in my collection. Without the cleaning/polishing, this coin should grade...
MS-65
Toss that phony back in the river where you found it. The digits in the date are the dead giveaway.
Details are excellent, but I'm surprised no one has even mentioned, this coin certainly looks cleaned to me, almost to the point of being harshly...
MS-62 obverse, MS-63 reverse. Nice coin.
As of this morning, Aug. 10, at 7:50 am, Eastern, this obviously fake coin has an opening bid of $200.00. What's this dude thinkin'?
This 1856 Seated Liberty Dollar is currently listed on eBay. The seller claims the coin is genuine, just old and dirty. Your thoughts, here is...
Cool finds, almost makes me want to apply for a cashier's position at Wal-Mart.
MS-62, a big obnoxious ding on the eagle's breast, obverse rim dings at 12 o'clock, a tad too much chatter on Miss Liberty's face for anything...
