The designer's initials on this do not look like what I normally find on other 1989's reverse's. It looks more like the one's found on the 1988...

Found this tonight... at first, it looks like a die break "blob"... but, there is an "lamination peel" of some sort, because I can see under it....

The one die break to the head is obvious but there is another above his nose. I think the patch above the ONE on the reverse might be a strike...
