If you count nic-a-date buffalo's I actually think that a circulation found set of Buffalo's is actually doable, but obviously you'd need crazy...
So i’ve Completed the Jefferson set, ‘38-‘61 minus the proofs. I’ve also completed Kennedy halves ‘64-‘91 including all the proofs, silvers and...
Whopper - thanks. It is funny, I actually have 3 coin collections, the one I had as a kid, the coins I’ve purchased as an adult and the coins i’ve...
Combining a few responses... Yes, pulled the ‘50-D from circulation. It’s probably XF. I didn’t find any war nickel varieties but I did find a...
That’s a good idea. Would be nice to see both sides.
Found this on Friday. Haven't historically looked for it but a couple months ago I thought I'd start trying to find one. This popped out of a...
Attached are pic's of my Jefferson nickel set '38-'61. I just completed filling the book out today. You might think the collection is average at...
I’m not knowledgeable enough to compete with those. Great picks. Very nice.
Ha ha, i’m Confident i’m Not. RPRT makes all the difference. From the LCS’s in the past couple years my best scores: 1971-S $1 FS-801 paid $5,...
That’s awesome. Are those die clashes (denticles) on the reverse?
Apparently i’m Not the top STL based LCS cherry picker.... you set a high bar sir but I’m up for the challenge.
Thanks. It’s a ‘24-D. Slightly less than 4 full digits but still a clear date.
Paddy - thanks. I don't have a lot of lamination error experience. What makes this one ugly? To me they all look about the same (condition not...
Thanks everyone. As I mentioned I don't really collect silver dollars but they look great so I couldn't pass them up for 'standard' Peace dollar...
That '24-D is a great find. I've found quite a few nice Merc's in the bucket but my all-time favorite is an XF '31-D.
This is going to be an odd post because I'm asking question about something I can't capture in the pictures. Today I picked up 3 Peace dollars...
For some reason one of my most enjoyable coin activities is finding slightly nicer than melt coins in the 90% bucket. Many of my favorite coins...
Purchased the coin below for $0.33 today. Have to assume the LCS thought the reverse issue was damaged not a planchet flaw. I know valuing...
Without reading the other responses I thought it was a 45-50. A really great looking coin.
I think it’s a 63 assuming the rim dings don’t derail it. Really looks AU-64 so I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see AU-58 on the slab.
