the mint mark is in the proper position on this coin, but it's a good place to be checking. The coin appears to be genuine.
look at the obverse rim. The plating has been rubbed off in places there. If you look closely you can see the copper peeking out from underneath
It looks nice and original not re-processed as so many 43s are. Nice coin!
