I suppose NGC could have swapped it either way I didn’t get back what I sent off and I’m not very happy
I did send it originally to NGC and it came back with out the designation. When the dealer asked them about it they said they didn’t give that...

Little update. I sent this coin to PCGS and I didn’t get it back. They sent me a 1965 sms quarter but not this one. The one I received has no doubling
