not every box will have silver. Some people have done over 20 boxes without finding any silver.

The key is doing a lot of volume. Try getting a 100 dollars in nickels at a time and like 200 in dimes.

Sorry but they are spenders. Get a red book they have mintages and stuff listed which will help you know what's a keeper and what's not.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure this is normal. I have some modern kennedies and they all have it.
