I've lost a few coins. Accidentally used some nickels I was saving as culls to fill rolls. Twice. This is what I get coin roll hunting when I...
Thanks for posting this. I may go to a show. :-)
That blows. I got two boxes of those clear plastic wrapped rolls of pennies last week and the rolls weren't all 50 coins. Some 49, some 51 or...
Everytime I buy CWRs they're short and chock-full of foreign coins. Thems the breaks. We lose less collecting coins than we do on other hobbies.
My last two boxes of BWR Cents were average. No OMG moments. Box 1: 19 wheatbacks, 5 Lincoln Memorial non-proof S coins, 10 Canadians....
Don't feel bad. My bank never has them either. There's a teller who grabs them all for himself.
1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent × 2 (one for me and one for Dad) Found, of course. I'm really not interested in buying Lincoln pennies. I did find a...
Haven't done much searching for the past week, but last night I went through 21 BWR Cents and found this ender... [ATTACH]
Wow weird coin FF2.
I toss back the nickels that are worn more than G-4, unless they're low mintage. When my tubes for each year are full, I'll probably toss out the...
The only 39-D I've found was road rashed, but Dad traded me one for some Buffaloes last year that he found when he was a kid, so the one in my...
Today's hunting was slooow. $20 in CWR Cents and only found 2 non-keeper wheatbacks. $70 in CWR Quarters didn't turn up anthing prior to 1965,...
Nice going Lon!!! I picked up 7 CWR nickels today. Found a 1942-P war nickel. Nice find, but I was a little bummed that it wasn't that 42-S I'm...
Supurb luck!!
I'd keep it, because it's a star note that cost you face value. You can always bundle it with something else for a trade. Put it in a sleeve and...
Any time I find a readable date Buffalo, it's a good box. :-) I just finished a BWR box of Nickels and didn't get lucky. Worst box I've had in...
Just finished a box of BWR Cents. Typical box, with 22 wheatbacks and 20 Canadians. No really special coins. The oldest wheat was a beat up...
Wow incredible!!!!! :-)
I'm still looking for a 1938-S and a 1939-S. :-) Found my 39-D last year.
Congratulations! I still need 7 (5 silver).
