I was slow on the draw but looked like a 63 to me also.
I agree looks like it's been cleaned. Nothing indicates fake to me either. As mentioned, if you'd like to be more sure, weigh it.

Ive seen a lot of these silver qtrs do the same thing. I've had some for years now and they have never gotten past that nice golden color. Keep'em!!
