I would like to add it's best to start a catalog of your collection with the purchase of your first coin. It's easier to only do one at a time...
What do you collect? For my tokens this is how it's organized, from left to right: Page # | Cunningham # | Base | face value | obverse | reverse...
I don't have my excel sheet in front of me but I have close to 500 military trade tokens. A couple duplicates, but the majority are unique...
I use excel to track my tokens. It works well enough for what I need. For my ancients I created a database in Microsoft Access.
