I have heard that so many '64 Franklins are getting melted that the population is going down quite rapidly, even with the enormous number minted....
These don't do too well on the 'bay. I've seen circulated '57s go for face, plus maybe 3-5%. Not worth it when you factor in the fees and effort...
And I thought my bank did well by me. I've never gotten any SCs or USNs, just old, pretty well circulated FRNs and the occasional older star....
Not nearly as relevant as the actual plate numbers.
