I had a 1977A $1 Front to Back complete offset in CU that brought about $120 on the bay. Agree with Funkee on the $30-40 value.
Rick, the coin you show looks to be MS R/B. The OP's coin is circulated. Devices can start to look different once a bit of wear is introduced....
Remember that you will be paying 10% FVF and 3% PayPal fees, so that will eat into the sale a bit. One problem with small, low(ish) value lots is...
I was actually going to say 62, but pinning MS grades on Morgans is not my forte. Nice luster but awful baggy on focal surfaces.
+1 to Ken's response.
Interesting. I have a couple of these 5 Mark coins, somewhere. These are .640 silver, correct?
Congrats on the job, and great pumpkins! Hopefully the larger paychecks can fund a few nice purchases, somewhere down the line :)
I would keep them, unless you needed the money for something else you have your eye on. Great group. Then again, I keep too many things. Maybe my...
I think you're pretty close to right on the money with AU-58.
Yes, more easily in sequential runs, especially if the notes are uncirculated. They do not commend a huge premium, but a premium nonetheless.
AU-58.
And minted in Germany, if I'm not mistaken. Imagine how they would look if they were produced in a mint in Mogadishu?
If 200 of us got together, it would only cost $2500 per person for a 0.5% stake. Anyone game?
I'm thinking more like EF-45 to AU-53. I'm seeing some wear, unless it's just the photos.
AG-3, about $3-4.
Do you know what grade it was given? I was basing my price estimate on MS-60/61.
Do you get to see them before you buy? If there are 30 or more 1935 series notes, sounds fair. If it's mostly '57s, I wouldn't.
I was going to say -- wow. Seems authentic but too good to be true. Even in a wholesale environment that would be more than a $30K coin.
Really nice! Hope they come back with a satisfactory grade.
Sorry Iowa, was in the mountains all weekend. Let Tiger have it! I have too many $100 keepers as it is. Gets very expensive in FV.
