The title is actually A Guide Book of United States Coins, and it's published by Whitman. It's called the Red Book because of the color of its...
You can't place much stock in the "old" ANACS grading. They gave me a grade of AU55/55 on an uncirculated large cent I had bought. When I asked...
What does that stand for?
I think the 20 steps includes the + grades: 60, 60+, 61, 61+, etc.
Did y'all see that in the specifics of the coin it was certified by PCGS as MS64 and then it said it was circulated? Man, that's all screwed up.
Most of your cents are what I call "spenders."
My guess before I saw the grade was MS64, with great luster.

The only coin I ever had that I know was cleaned by an an ultrasonic cleaner was a 1913-S 25c I had submitted to ANACS. They told me that there...
My vote was for XF40, and I think the streaking on the obverse gives it an awful appearance. Just my opinion, of course.
MS63.
My guess was XF45. I think there's a bit too much wear on the headdress and hair to qualify as AU anything. Nice coin for the grade.
