That's awesome! The oldest proof I have is a 1962 franklin (but I've got a 1957 proof set coming too). Super nice cent!

Thanks again for the coin!
It's a solid 65 maybe 66 IMO.
I saw that too. Maybe doubling on ONE CENT as well?
nice deal! wtg!
so you did it on the crap or the great ones?
Haha!:D Hopefully not.:yawn:
are you looking for grades?
small pics, but i don't see any bad marks on the cheek so i go 65 but i bet they gave it a 66
BTW what was your offer?
I also like the die cracks. I think it is mechanical doubling on the date (looks like a shadow), but still cool. Looks like a 63 to me! Very nice!
fa2 po1 ag3 g6 ag3 porous net fa2 ag3??? I have never tried to grade these before and I am sure I am way off.
BTW the 1909 plain is still my best roll find! Congrats on the weather? I'm enjoying it in the sixties up here in IL, but it's supposed to get up...

It is a solvent of organic compounds that will not affect your coin. You can get it at a hardware store. Use it in a well ventilated area as it is...
acetone will get it off...
I do like the toning. The excellent strike is standard for 1881-S morgans, but it still looks great! I can't really tell if it is a 64 with those...
That's why there's bleach!!;):headbang::rolling:
