Probably pushing 200. I collect varieties, and clashed dies are common. Now if it is a FE Cent die clashed with a $20 Gold or Quarter die, then...
Exactly. Clashed dies are not errors. RPMs, RPDs - not errors. Varieties.
I spend dateless and partial date buffalo nickels and wheatback cents. They will circulate a bit, and someone may take them home and give them to...
World coins - best bang for your buck.
I would email pics to Sandy at Proof Positive coins in Canada. Too perfect to be filled dies. Could have been done to be re-engraved as a Love Token.
Looks like all of the 1oz. Gold Buffaloes, and half of the Pd Merc "coins" the mint sold.
Canadian 80% Ag. You can get it cheap, and every dollar face has 0.6 oz. ASW. Easy to calculate, regardless of denomination.

Good job looking at details. It will pay off in the future.
Looks like a vise or hammer job.
Not going to make a difference with it. I would just wait for a nicer one, or pay 25 cents for an unc.
Did you check to see if they had the numbers directly above and below this? 00000007 and 00000008 would have probably been more desirable.
When a coin has a high mintage, people don't put any away because they think that they will be common, and not valuable. The 1950-D is the best...
Anything that could upgrade has been cracked and submitted, unless someone put it in a safe deposit box long ago and it just came out. It is...
How do you know it is a type 1 blank? Broadstriking would remove evidence of rimming. Does it say it on the slab?
