No. 1982 was the beginning of Zinc cents "weight of a typical Zincoln is 2.51 grams yours is slightly above weight. Normal.
Common run size, cool find though http://www.mycurrencycollection.com/reference/star-notes/lookup/1/2017/K06747373*
Struck through grease, I've seen so many of these on the state quarters.
I would never make it as a professional coin grader ;)
Agreed cool find in circulation but it an impaired proof. I put them in flips and store them myself.
I really don't know for sure but it doesn't look natural to me. I looked at a couple of graded P-01 and it just seems like there is more wear on...
dunno maybe it was artificially worn then became a pocket piece for a while to hide artificial wear? I really don't care for P-01 so I never...
Cool find but as others have stated the condition is not worth grading. The 1999 WAM is becoming harder to find though.
Ok I tried Chamomile tea...all I have to say is :yuck: lol.
thanks for that laugh.
Perhaps it and the inmate that made it had help getting out :D

Oh wow nice. Those are good and shiny too:)
I dont think that that always happens especially in smaller cuds. Someone that has more knowledge in cuds may be able to explain better than I can.
closest that I could find is the CU-1c-1982-29(LD)(Cu)
Thanks Paddy. I just hope I stay alert during her appointment's.
Hey everyone I just wanted to share my insomnia find of the night. I bought a box of Lincolns yesterday and didn't get around to searching them...
