Nope. IMO a coin should only be sent in for grading if you think the value of the slabbed coin will be enough to cover the ~$30 cost of grading....

It's extremely likely that the coin was buried at some point in time. As Paddy pointed out, it looks exactly like the clad coins I find detecting.
I find coins like that metal detecting all the time :P It's just damaged and worth only 25 cents.
