The reverse detail brings it up to a VG-8 in my opinion. Definitely won't make Fine.
Hey, there are some that love '62 Valiants, too...
If it comes to pass, I may get a table. I'm not doing much travel any more, for obvious reasons. I did the first one, and it was my best show ever.
I've found that if the coin is underexposed or underexposed, due to the background or some other reason, you can use the processing software to...
Natural, probably from several decades in an album. If it was dipped, that would have been a while back.
That NGC grade is nonsensical. If it is concluded that the coin is Mint State, then, with the lack of marks and its great eye-appeal, it should be...
My grade: the nicest AU-58 you'll ever see anywhere.
I'd be at AU-53 also.
I agree with AU-55. The flatness on the eagle's shoulder is the giveaway. Not sure about cleaned..maybe.
MS-62, unless it has more luster in person than this picture indicates.

It looks like a nice, problem-free F-12 to me.
I could see a "VF details" on this one...

Note that the poll is for the PCGS grade. The Tom grade would be VF-30.
I think we'll find that PCGS gave this a 35 a minimum, and likely a 40, which was my vote. Strike must be considered on these early dates.
That's a perfectly acceptable Barber dime.
