Oh my. I was looking in the top 50. Now I see the others. This is interesting.
Ah ha. Now that MM seems so obvious. There's only one VAM for 1923-S that I see, and it doesn't seem to apply.
I don't know where the MM is on these. (!) Here's the reverse. Thanks~~ [ATTACH]
Thanks-- did not know about that. If I was trying to sell it on ebay, I'd call it a VAM2. It's so worn there's no saying it isn't, but it actually...
Thanks.
I only own a few coins other than a bunch of wheat pennies-- this is one of two peace dollars I own, and she went through a house fire with us....
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] There's the obvious crack on the reverse, and then I just noticed the weird thing on the obverse, on his neck... ?? Thanks.
Thank you.
I thought the skid mark running between his head and Liberty, that continues down onto his collar, looked like PMD. No?
The top (or left) part of the head is raised, at the crack. Is that what you mean? Or would the entire area be raised? Thanks---
[ATTACH] I know, PMD. I just like it.
I would like to see more pictures.
Lurking here but gotta ask, because I'm amazed-- you got this $10K coin for approximately $370, because nobody else on ebay for that entire week...
Yes, it has blotchy brighter spots. Like a woody but not as pretty.
What do we think? Thanks.[ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Can we look at this coin again? ... better pics help, and I know I could do better than these, but ... all on reverse, the cracks and fault lines...
I can't tell if you're being serious or not....
Thank you. I thought it looked like the year was doubled as well. But only the mint mark?
:vomit::vulcan::wacky::wideyed:....where's the skeptical face when you need it?:watching:
Phew. I hope I never do anything that horrible. :nailbiting:
