Yeah, looking at the 5 and the crown, it does look like the small eight. Thanks for the help and pointing out this website. Bookmarked!:D Some...
Amazon.com would probably be the cheapest.
Like a population report?
You can also link to pics off-site to a website like photobucket.
I really cant tell if this has the small or large 8. I believe it is a large 8 but I trust the opinions of my fellow CTer's.:D
?
Ditto.:thumb:
Exactly what I was thinking!;)
It is fairly cheap to buy high AU half-dimes. About a year ago I bought NGC AU-58 1858 for $100. So just wait a little while and one just right...
This one has me completly stumped...I agree with hontonai.
Can you take a picture of it staight on and not at an angle its hard to atribute it like it is.
It is all about eye-appeal. The better looking and attractive the coin, the more it will sell for.:D
Actually, I correct myself before 1962 if it had BCCR on it, it would have been made in Philidelphia but since the date is 1972 it would be made...
Dramatic die cracks/breaks and cuds! What more could you ask for?!:D
BCCR means it was minted in Philidelphia, so yes it was minted by the US Mint.
Its fine to attach here. It doesn't appear to be any variety. But maybe a more trained eye can tell you more.:kewl:
First, Welcoem to CoinTalk. Second to correctly attribute a coin we need to see a picture. To post a pic, when you reply to a message just click...
Thats what you call, dramatic!
I believe that was just a typing error.:D The ruler at the time was Umberto I. Everything else De Orc wrote is correct.
