Looks like the reeding from another Morgan, where it transferred over. Perhaps it took a hard hit from another coin?
Heritage bought a 64 CAC indian cent from me once. I later saw it in a 66 holder, back up for sale on their site.

There's an 1806/9 draped bust half... inverted 6.
Genuine but details: surfaces smoothed.
It was in an ICG MS64 RB, but didn't have the variety on the label. I paid $665, cracked it out, and had it graded at PCGS.
This one is a massive rarity. Only around a dozen known. I cherrypicked it last year for $50. It graded VF30, third finest known behind a VF35 and...
@Eduard , I just got this one back. Snow 2, FS-303 RPD. Much more scarce than the 1867/67. Only 1 finer in 64 RD. Mine is MS64 RB. [ATTACH]
