much better in your pics
your coin I think is pictured on pg 55 and its a close date with stars away with a square-serif letters reverse. R-1 rarity thats my best guess! :)
decent looking coin. Hard to tell the color from the pics. Little bit of corrosion but not too bad. vf details seems right
it also lists a different reverse die that is much more common and only R1 you need to post a pic of reverse to tell which one this is.
I think I saw this coin in The Cent Book on pg 54 He called this version close date with stars away. R3 rarity. Nice coin by the way!
it looks maybe F2 to ag3 details to me. Has a lot of corrosion on it so as far as value goes I would guess 20 to 30 dollar range.
kind of fun to take a gamble now and then!
pics were not great but I am hoping the surfaces on this one are not too porous. Details look at least vf to me....
still this one at the moment. Would love to trade it for some nice large cents that would be of equal value.[IMG] [IMG]
it might be a resell type of coin but most of the time I see these types of coins go for this much or more on the bay.
obverse has some evironmental issues but I liked the details left on this one. Reverse looked pretty good. What do you think?...
all coins have value. you might not think coin is worth bidding on but i do not agree.
yes the rim dings are there. Probably why it sold for the price it did.
few little rim nicks but I thought coin looked original and vfish....
I am also thinking F grade. Value could be 50 to 70 dollars I would think
count me in on being a large cent guy.
the small dent on the top of the 4 is in both images so I do believe it is the same coin
seller says N-1 Looks VF 20 ish?? slight premium with RPD? Thanks Jerry...
thanks again Bill. appreciate your replies
I am ready! :) I paid 19.95 delivered for this book because the seller said the dust cover was torn and taped. Book itself is fine. Thought...
