Doug , how about posting about 50 times by tommorow , I picked the 23rd , just thought I'd bring it up cause we need more of your coin savvy , and not because I picked the 23rd .

Ed - it is just the forum software. That "coin hoarder" is just the user title that the forum software automatically assigns to members who have a certain number of posts.

If you'd like to change your user title just go into User CP and click on Custom User Title and change it to whatever you'd like it to be.

It seems like another lifetime ago for me, but the change of life from highschool to college can do that. The name is Max, by the way, and I'd never hold forgetting it against ya; trust me, I'm happy enough my handle rings a few brain cells.

Since the fall of '05 I've been a student at the U of U, studying chemistry currently. I'm aiming to graduate in the next year or so. Have have things been over here, and with you? (Is there a pm system on the forum, or is this it? Its a bit hard to keep a conversation in one place :P )

Dear sir, If you would read my post "how to safely, naturally tone my coin" I would appreciate your feedback. BTW, I use you name in posts because you user name is too hard to remember and I figure you have a pic of yourself on your profile page so I didn't think you were too crazy about annonimity like me. Let me know, if that is not your preference.

      Howdy, Doug

I doubt you'd remember this old handle as years have passed since I was last active. I used to frequent the old Coinworld forums before they went down. As all things in life, college took a front seat to the more pricy hobbies, but now that classes are winding down I'm looking to getting back involved. I noticed/remembered that you're in Utah, which is where I'm currently going to school. The big question; do you know any good Salt Lake coin shows coming up? My collection has remained dormant long enough.

Doug, Still can't start any threads under new posts. I have become a post hitchhiker. I feel like a poster-user. Left vistor message for Peter. Also when I post photos it's making weird symbols on that page after that saying this
Warning: parse_url(http://) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse url in [path]/includes/init.php(294) : eval()'d code on line 21" Help me?

Hey boss I was wondering if you would check out my newest thread "checking your coins for authenticity" and let me know what you think of it?

Doug, your albums are coming along very nicely. I did not get a chance to view all your coins, but was impressed with the ones that I did see. I was paying special attention to your French coins since I was able to pick up my first French coin last week. I know virtually nothing about them, but I liked the design. I noticed a similar design in your collection, but will have to compare the two on a later day considering that I can't see what I am typing because I am about to fall asleep. Talk to you later. Happy Holidays. Joe

Hello, My name is Jerry and go by the name YeOldStore. A couple months back I stated a thread about counterfit coins. There were a lot of posts to it mostly with legal arguments. The thread was moved and I am not sure to where and would like to finish reading post on this issue. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to view ? I much appreciate your help and Happy Holidays to you and yours. Thank you, Jerry

There is a current thread about the hobby's future. I, and I'm sure many others, would like to see you comment on this. Please do so if you have the time.

Sorry I havent been back on the forum lately. I have viewed it, just not logged on. I think the problem I had with posting was I was in an area where posts weren't permitted period...my mistake. I still cannot put in cointalk.org in my address bar and sign in. The screen welcomes Toyz4geo and says it is re-directing me, but when I get to where I am re-directed to, it is the sign in screen again, and I am not signed in. I have to go to my old email, find where I recieved a notice of response to a post, follow that link to this site, and when I sign in that way, it signs me onto the site. That is what I had to do to get on here this time. I do not know if the problem is here or there. I have a PC and a laptop and I have this site in my favorites. The problem exists with both computers. Thanks for the help.

I noticed that I am not allowed to post new threads. Also, I have had trouble logging on. did something happen to my account or did I do something I was not supposed to do?? I have recieved no notification of this. I am allowed to reply to threads, and the only way I can log on is to follow the thread from my email when I get a message.
      Thanks,
      George
