Well there was some pullback this morning and when the U.S. markets opened, it went right back up, so I was kinda shocked to see that...... In regards to silver, when I think of pullback, I'm thinking back in the low $18's....high $17's.....
Skimming the headlines today shows stirrings that PoG $2,000 and oil $100 suggest potential 'bubble' territories with those figures. Yet heavy demand in precious metals ETFs and continued allegiance to gold for protection due to fears of policy decision in the US is reasonable for PoG to continue rising, $1,300 - $1,500 and oil $70-$80. It's these regular ups and downs that I expect, especially when a wave of excitement over this or that level is a flurry of talk despite the ongoing market factors and timely cycles for PMs to perform in this manner.

Wow this is shocking, any news updates for the rise? I thought the recent price drop yesterday was the beginning of the pullback...
Not any one or two things to immediately point to. Oil seems up. EU stability still seems a concern. The month is typically pretty good for metals. Maybe a lot of traders out this week for Rosh HaShanah (Jewish New Year) observance.
Interesting, you know, everytime you guys post the spot prices, I never see those prices when I go to APMEX. It's always about 5 cents below...
Yes, I have noticed this too. I always quote Kitco 'Ask' price when I post numbers. I also, daily at about 11 am, compare Kitco 10 oz. silver bars to APMEX 10 oz. silver bars. The APMEX bars are usually within 3¢-10¢ below those sold by Kitco. I know that Kitco has a guarantee buy back of their Kitco branded bars, but I'm not sure if APMEX carries the same policy.
Sorry it took me a few minutes to dig this up for you. Doug explained this well fairly recently in this thread: Bid vs Ask
