My uncle bought a coin a couple of weeks ago, which seems to not exist...

It's a 20 lire Vatican gold coin from 1950 which looks the same as the 100 lire one, except for the value of 20 lire on it.

The weight of the coin was a bit more than the 100 lire vatican coin from 1950. I think it was 6.2 gram (I can check at home)

Does anyone know of the existence of this coin?

Thanks for the links :). I looked through them but I didn't see the coin I was looking for. As far as I know it looks the same as the 100 lire one. My uncle is also a coin collector so he has a lot of books. A gold coin merchant was selling it and he just bought it because he didn't know it.

That's why he thinks this coin is very special, not being in any of his books.

Without a photo of the coin it's very hard to tell what you have. Post pics of both sides of his coin and see if any other members can help you out.
