What Kind of Dollar is This?

I've never seen one of these before. Is it a "fantasy" coin?

I've never seen one before, and the seller sure does a lousy job of providing information about it. How does he know its silver? What is the diameter? What is the weight? What a jerk!

Lots and lots of Chinese counterfeits infest Ebay.au, but that's the first time I've seen an Aussie selling on the Canadian site.

 

It looks almost like a well-done hobo nickel (dollar) to my eye.

 

The thing that strikes me ( besides the obvious) is that every single bidder ( even the one with 0 feedbacks) has bid on this guys stuff before. I can think of reasons besides they love counterfeits/fakes/fantasy.
