So which way is zinc headed in your esteemed thread? See, your thread title and OP doesn't indicate what you think the"Next level" is, let alone where you think it's going as an investment... Seems you're just mocking the noble metal threads here on CT and really have nothing to add to the forum. Maybe best to close the thread entirely if that's the case as it appear to be. Balls in your court DF.

    Be Kind, Krispy.:p

D~ Freak has my old $2 note from the Derby this year and may be onto something.

Heck. I actually recycle aluminum after I suck out the contents.

This may be a viable new trend.;)

Didnt intend on going that in depth but since you are one of my favorite members I will enlighten you. Without question zinc is going to reach $2+ just like in 2006

Reason being is there is new technology requiring zinc in golf balls. Golf is a sport on the rise so with the higher demand there will be a higher price. Word also leaked that there is a new and improved zinc air battery which will play a major factor in the zinc market. Zinc is a home run right now at less than 78 pennys a pound. yeap you heard me, 78 zinc pennys for a pound of zinc

I hid that in an original book written by edgar allen poe. I am betting that because there is no sign of two dollar notes in the future my children will be more excited about finding that then they will the book.:p

DOK: I've no doubt about the validity of the industrial metals.

My doubts are of the OP's mocking sarcasm following today's new thread started a few moments prior to this one: Next Level: Nickel $10.00/lb and the OPs intrusion and behavior in another thread shortly before: Next Level: GOLD $1,350.00

Hey, Thanks for the enlightenment on zinc and golf, etc.! If you think it's headed to $2, then I will say next level $4 (get it? FORE!!!) ;) Plus, zinc has all those medicinal applications, like when you put that white paste on your nose when outdoors to protect you from getting burned, say at the golf course!

I hope the pages of that book are acid free or the note is in a mylar sleeve to protect against discoloration resulting from the leaching of acids in the paper and inks, otherwise the value may decrease with eye appeal over time, or by the time someone discovers it. Insects also find their way to books and papers if not stored carefully. :smile

Thanks. It's more fun batting them back and forth at each other when we can intertwine topical relevance, or topical remedies. :smile

No problem. I like them too, but spend most of my time focused on Gold and Silver as investments. For the industrial metals, I'd rather some sort of sector fund for investment sake.

    I'm getting dizzzy

Zinc has/can move electrons. Might have a future in the petro anxious world.

Guess it's a bummer my Brother turned his golf course into a vineyard...but he is my older brother and never listens to me.

Is it best to get the copper off LMS's?

He's just speculating like so many often do on this site. Besides, after today we all needed a good laugh.
