Yup. I have failed you and the "Pak". I traded 7 First Spouses for a little one room cabin with a wood stove.

True, it was only Jeff Lib and earlier ones but still, I feel that I'm not as pure as I once was.

However, I am still collecting and who knows, perhaps I'll recover and be accepted back. Or I may be as dead as the ladies themselves. Only time will tell.

Hmmmm...I guess real estate is a worthy investment. Say ten (10) "Hail Barbaras" and we'll call it even. :eek:hya:

Btw, I hope you kept at least one of the coins...it gets mighty lonely in a one-room cabin without any female companionship. :kewl:

Isn't that where they found the Unibomber?

No, I think the unibomber had a better spread. He had more private space.

Actually, I had 2 US Mint boxes with 1 Unc Jefferson spouse and 1 Unc Proof spouse in each, and I sold one pair a couple of years ago. Of course, I wish I had held on to them. I still have the other pair.

Whew, that was a close one!

Thanks Yak I was afraid I'd be banished! I still have plenty of ladies from Monroe to Taylor so I should never get lonely.

Just thought I'd better snag the 'Kazinski Kabin' while it was available. I hope to replace the coins at some future date but cabins are 'now-or-never' and I had less than a week to raise the cash. The gals I bought from LOVED the coins and I had no trouble convincing them to make the swap. Just thought you'd all enjoy seeing what these sweet dearly departeds will purchase in a non-numismatic market.
    Thanks to all!

Seriously...nice trade!! How much land comes with it? Where is it...approximately? Looks like it could use a little yard work.

Well yeah, it IS true .....

that it ain't as sharp looking as the ladies I swapped for it. I 'may' have to put a new coat of paint on it, replace some of that siding, fix the roof, clean up the yard....OH MY GOD Yak, I've been swindled!!! Arrgh! Those fast-talkin' gals stole my ladies!:crying:

It's here in Colorado, about 9100 feet elevation, right on a county maintained road and the lot is just under an acre. No juice but the utilities are in front right on the road although I may go photovoltaic as the minimum electric charge anymore is rather stiff and I don't expect I'll be needing much.
Those are cottonwood trees in the pic so I'll have some pleasant shade when taking a break from doing all or some of the above. Provided all that work doesn't kill me and unite me with the real First Spouses!

Thanks for forgiving my indiscretion and letting me remain in the Pak, Yak. I'll try to avoid any further lapses in the future but goodness only knows what a few Letitias, Julias, Annas, or Sarahs might command, eh? Might be trading up to a condo in Aspen one fine day:rolleyes:.

It looks like you have plenty of wood to build on to the hut. When we were kids we used to build shacks out in the woods all the time, we had one we raided a junk yard and got an old toilet and even had our own outhouse.

Haha, very funny thread and pretty cool... glad you got Yak approval!

I'm sure my First Spouse trade from last year doesn't get yak approval quite as easily though... 10 First Spouse coins (Washington, A. Adams, Madison, Monroe and L. Adams in proof and unc) for a single Indian Head Cent :)

OMG!!! Gold's on its way to $1500/Oz! If you only waited year you might have been able to afford indoor plumbing!

Yes so true Yak. But that's why I sought forgveness previously, as I well knew that I had stumbled. Now it appears I had actually fallen! Probably should have thrown a couple of "Hail Michelle"s in there while I was doing my penance.
Even worse, the old cash flow hasn't been up to snuff, 'lo these last several time intervals, and alas, it has come to pass that I've been unable to continue with the newer issues. So now I have a 'broken set' of gold Spouses. None of the early ones, a pretty good inventory from Monroe to Pierce, and then another gaping hole.
Perdition is too good for the sorry likes of me.
    So is indoor plumbing.

LOL...Your silver pen more than makes up for any lack of gold. Btw, the Jane Pierce proof just sold out three (3) months early...might want to hang on to that one!

congratulations. few people will ever actually realize any profits on their bullion/hysteria trend coins. a lot of people bought at 18 or less, but unless they realize the profits it really doesn't matter.
