2 months after coming out as an official stacker, the gold....and yes, a mighty 2 ounces of silver too (whatever silver I could find that didn't come with astronomical premiums or I could work a deal on).
I have 3 more coming, a 20 Italian Lira gold coin (part of the Latin Monetary Union), an Austrian 8 Florins (re-strike by the Austrian Mint) also to LMU standards, and a 20 Corona....not one of the modern Austrian re-strike but rather an actual vintage Austrian 20 Corona piece. So all of that combined with the coins in the photo above work out to something like 8.15 oz troy of Gold. That's probably it for me for the 2022 season...unless I find a good deal on a vintage or re-strike Austrian 10 Corona, and/or a 20 Franc Angel. Next season (2023) I want to get my first Perth Mint Kangaroo, a gold Buffalo, a few more LMU coins, and an Austrian 4 Ducat re-strike. So hopefully gold will stay below $2000 all year so I can get some deals.
I will wait until my credit cards are paid back. I would like some small gold coins. Maple leafs. Love that color gold
maybe I'll buy more gold with my credit card !! gold is good. nice shiny then you have to worry about storing it so it doesn't get stolen. lol
