Nah, different countries besides Canada didn't mint too many gold coins at all. As far as the $5 gold coin goes, it was only a three year coin 1912-1914. Odd in comparison to US standards but now they have some rarities and they seem to be selling for top dollar!
I got another Hart's Gold Token, Minerva 1915. I read somewhere that these Tokens were sold at the Panama Pacific International Expo in Frisco by Farran Zerbe. If you've never heard of Farran Zerbe he was quite a character and quite the salesman, respected by many but also hated by many, including Thomas Elder. https://forums.collectors.com/discu...usi-a-n-a-pikers-exposition-tokens-delorey-71
I also got a new Mexican Gold 1/4, 1981 first year of issue. It's actually a double for me, not sure why guess I was in a buying mood!
