news paper adds?

Is it just me or have ther been a flood of news paper adds (USA TODAY..ECT) pushing gold/silver? Sad thing ppl buy these damn coins at 100% mark up,and get taken. I saw an add for 1/10oz AGE for only $165 WOW! of course in the add it looked as big as a 1ozer .

You see those ads all the time in Parade Magazine and others. They survive on the "there's a sucker born every minute" idea. I bet they sell tons of 'em.

 

Should be "newspaper odds".........

 

If people didn't fall this stuff, they wouldn't be placing these ads. We're the ones sitting back and thinking how stupid this is, and they're the ones getting rich. Who's smarter?

This ads are just hype. By the time the news about gold reaches the mainstream media (TV, newspapers, etc.), the opportunity to get in early has passed (and these products are usually way overpriced). TC

 

$165 for 1/10 ounce of gold is still a better deal then $30 for a pure 24k gold plated American Buffalo.
