    How so ? there's people making a killing on BTC, and there are those that like to complain about it.

    Some people make a killing on lottery tickets too . . . they're outnumbered by the losers, thousands to one, if not more.

    I wish I had a dollar for every time someone in this thread said that. Everything is in the toilet expect for the price of consumer goods and services. Guess your favorite metals have all lost their legs for being down too, and stocks

    Whats the point of even making the same comments over and over and over and over and over again for years and years? I've literally asked you this question over a year ago but just the same stuff over and over and over

    I've been clean out of equities since March.

    I don't buy bullion. I do hedge in PM-related collectible US coinage which, while affected, happens to be less sensitive to swings in the PMs. Sales have still been brisk in that area.

    You're right, there's not much for people to crow about, but I persist in pointing out that buying crypto-currency as a speculative investment is swimming with the sharks. People are going to get hurt . . . badly, and when they do I don't want to know that they are members of CT who could have been warned and weren't.

    BitCoin = $26,442

    Nothing you say without actually backing it up should make any major difference on anyones mind, or shouldnt anyways. Simply saying over and over and over for years that its going to fail and posting prices when it fits your pov isnt a warning and anyone where thats all it takes for investment advice is going to fail no matter what listening to random people on the internet. Coin forums also said facebook stock was a shame and thats 3x its release price as just another example. If anyone read the entire thread though you come off as punching air yelling at the sky as the threads been saying the same thing everytime its gone down including much lower drops several years ago.

    If people had actually gotten into it when the thread started and was being mocked theyd all be millionaires from a very small investment. I've also been pretty consistent I dont like the entry price without a big price drop and the potential return diminishes as the price increases and there's better places like stocks (before recently) where you could get better returns faster.

    Thats said NO ONE should be getting investment advice from coin forums. Even with coins themselves many posts ignore markets and just say what they want or hope. There's also A TON of people significantly underwater from PM investment advice on coin forums.

    EVERYONE should be doing their own research and looking for tangible facts on investment. That said as I've said before, there is a very clear age gap on crypto.

    "If you don't like crypto, you're dumb. And OLD."

    What was it some wise person said? Something along the lines of "Whats the point of even making the same comments over and over and over and over and over again for years and years?"

    Nope but you just proved my point of why no intelligent discussion can ever happen for it and hasnt really happened. If someone doesnt trash it on a coin forum you get mocked as dumb and stupid and lumped in with the ones making stuff up. Thanks for proving my point

    Great . . . The guy who swore one would get rich buying BitCoin now promotes trading its volatility because the bottom’s falling out of it.

    BitCoin = $23,327

    jeffB I like this crown and wear it proudly "you're dumb And OLD." Did that same wise person say keep buying or doing the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome.

    Well if you're going to buy BIT it is probably the best time since it is down roughly 2/3 over the last year or so. Good luck. (But of course only if you bought it today, 6/13/22 or way back then when you started the post) LOL

    Sure, buy today's dip! If you bought 14:50 and 15:15 UTC today, while it was under $23K, then sold right at 16:15 when it popped over $24K, you turned a nice quick 4-5% profit, minus any overhead. Ain't hindsight great?

    Right now, it's back under $23K. Are you buying, or are you selling? Guess we'll find out tomorrow, when hindsight tells us what you should have been doing right now.

    Be sure and buy some crypto. The crypto outlets will gladly take your cash. They need it to stay solvent enough to pay tomorrow’s sellers.
