I opened a few of these boxes that I received and never opened when I was being overworked. Two $25.00 face bags of junk silver along with a number of newer but worthless coins that I had to have to plug some holes and these two silver ounces. I also had 3 silver ounces of buffaloes but I posted some just like them a year or two ago. 2013 on the bullion and that was the date on the invoice. I have several folders that are almost full, all found in my junk silver from years ago.
I had a similar thing happen to me while clearing off a book shelf several months ago. I came across an aftermarket ASE book I purchase 12-21 years ago. Therein sat 6 different dated silver eagles. (I guess I purchased them with the book?) Completely forgotten for the lo' these last 20 years or so. One of the Very Few perks of Old Age! Nieh! J.T.
Said someone else was rude also. Post#23 on this thread https://www.cointalk.com/threads/woodie-penny-1949-s.394770/page-2
Really!!! If one of your "in crowd" people made this comment, you would be all "ha, ha, ha..." realize the comment is for fun. Look, I'm an old man, & by definition, my patience is thin, but you 2 are really testing it. And pat, "he" identifies as a "she". Nut, Paddy isn't generally rude, but the way he sometimes words his posts cryptically, you can understand why he would be misinterpreted. (Nice coin btw!) Sheesh...
I genuinely replied to a post, @Collecting Nut did likewise. Why you have got yourself involved is a mystery to me. I am not part of an "in crowd" and never will be. If your patience is thin, don't get involved in things that are a waste of your time.
I think you misunderstand what’s happening. It wasn’t Paddy that made the comment to which I was referring. I even received a note from the person but I already stated that. Thank you for your concern but best if you didn’t get involved.
