4 hours out at the claim moved a yard of dirt.

Yep, I have faith in you! I figure if you're gonna go out there and work it, you'll get a payday sooner or later. :D

    So, about $2.50 an hour?

Still "pays" better than roll searching, and probably more fun as well. :)

That would require a continuation of.the inflation, very high oil prices, and misery such as is occurring in the Ukraine. I’ll pass on $7,400 gold if it’s all the same to you.

Its something like going to the gym.
Getting outdoors is a plus when it's not 100 degrees or higher.

Those nickels, and he also gave the Simpson family a cigar box of "Mint Condition 1918 Liberty Head Silver Dollars" which were promptly spent. WE know they had to be counterfeits, so no harm there ;).

On topic, I don't think $2700 a year from now is too out of line if things continue as they are. Of course that means nothing. Long term, the sky is the limit if we continue to price gold in the current dollar. If things get that bad, I would expect some sneaky games to keep the number from getting too big and scaring people, games from the same people that said the upside of inflation was a bigger number on your paycheck o_O. They think we're all stupid, and in general, they are right.

Always remember...high prices are an aftermath of inflation...there is no real gain in wealth.

Chris Verrone, Strategas (from CNBC): "Underowned....acts great....flows into gold ETFs nowhere near 2020 levels....$2,400 - $2,500 very achievable."

Yes, it's pumped up the same this morning! :) It's a shame the world is facing unrest right now and so many families have lost their homes. :( I'll check the link later!
