I went to my first coin show of 2022 today, where only one dealer had ancients! however I still managed to get couple of coins. This denarius of Faustina senior piqued my interest as I've only ever seen coins with the legends Diva Faustina, a quick search on my phone showed me it's a life time issue! although the reverse is worn, I'm still happy to have a coin of her when she was alive. 139-140 AD Obv: FAVSTINA AVGVSTA Rev: IVNONI REGINAE, Juno holding patera and sceptre, peacock at feet. And an antoninianus of Trajan Decius, an emperor I didn't have before and a portrait that looks realistic mere years before the degradation of Roman coinage! AR Antoninianus Abundantia 249 – 251 AD A shot of the dealer's inventory.
