    Hi guys
I was out buying some coins last week and found a 1982 panda for 1200 bucks at the local coin shop
After coming home and researching the coin i discovered this was the first year of mintage and it was worth more then double other year pandas
Are there any other coins out there in the bullion market that i should be on the look out for? For example a low mintage krugerrand or maple that may have a higher value other then the gold weight
I figure this is a nice topic to have maybe we will all go on one big scavenger hunt after this LOL

    thanks in advance

Yes 1982 was the first year just like the 1/10 for that same series. I have a 1984 panda, and it's worth a bit more than the newer ones as well, mine is the 1/10. I just sold a couple of 1/10's both 2001 and in the case of the AGE some ppl really appreciate that year too b/c of the unfortunate 9/11 krap. Different years for different coins, but you can pretty much count on the first coin in any series being the key date maximus. That is a guaranteeeee, mostly.
