Found Yesterday

As promised, in the unopened box I opened yesterday after 6 years, here is the coin piece that was in the box. A 2014 1/2 ounce of fine gold. It’s valued at $25.00 and that is figured is beyond my math when gold it about $1800 per ounce.

How does 1 person loose track of where their gold is ? Wow.

 

I think it's known as "having more money than time". Not that uncommon for people who can work overtime.

The good news: if you spend money on gold, then forget about it, you've still got the gold. Not so true for spending money on tickets, or on a restaurant meal, or...

 

I'd say that she looks Happy too!

The only thing I found yesterday was a sore back after moving 7 inches of snow from my driveway.

 

I been offering to do that for two years. I don't know how he has the patience that he has. I couldn't do it.... The patience of Job.

 

Sorta like working too much to be able to spend the money.

 

Work 6 days a week, over 90 hours each for for a number of years. Only had time to mow the 7 acres, eat, sleep and bathe. Here’s some of what I’m going through now that I’m retired. And I do mean some. Lol

 

Jeff, you don’t know how truthful that statement is. I just bought. When a package arrived I knew what was it in. Well years later, I don’t. Lol

Not at all. You work too much and have lots of extra to spend, enough time to order and no time to open them. Lol I was (and this will make you sick) 40 hours of overtime at time and a half and another 10-25 hours at double time. My paychecks were over $2000 a week.

That’s why I’m glad to be retired. A few other trading also. I did retire at 63 and haven’t regretted it at all.

 

I retired at 60 going on 6 years ago and don't regret it one bit. Sure, I could have accumulated more money for hobbies such as coin collecting but to me, money isn't everything. As a kid I always dreamed of living in a home in the woods with a lake on one side and a trout stream on the other. When the opportunity arose I took it and never looked back.

 

I wouldn’t either. Sounds wonderful. I wanted to work until I was 70 but I hadn’t planned on that many hours. I’m so glad to be retired.

 

Dang... You guys are making me jealous!

 

You have a few more years Randy. You just bought a beach house or should I say shack? Lol It will get there soon enough. The last straw for me was a nasty person working in Management. She didn’t last long but I don’t care. So glad to be rid of her.

 

Great find, I have one as well but if I posted a pic it would be meaningless in comparison to yours! Sweet find!
