I have been buying from this lady for awhile she is a GOD fearing up standing bussiness woman who will sell 1 ASE or 500, One 1/10oz gold or 1ton and treat both customers the same! Silver eagles at $360 for 20 not bad?? Anyway check her out at Discount gold and silver. Just an FYI
What a goofy looking web site design! They seem very openly faith and survivalist oriented or driven and/or trying to appeal to those so moved by such manipulation of historical political images and apply them under the context of ideals of freedom in their solicitation of selling coins and precious metals. The site layout speaks volumes and I wouldn't buy from them at all. I REALLY hope you did well with your purchase and I REALLY hope that they are as trustful of dealers as you stated, especially since you have only just bought your first gold coins and they have the following policy listed in their FAQ: This company states they have been in business for '11 corporate years' but they don't seem to be rated by the BBB, however there is a company of the same name located in the state of Missouri.
The Site has a Glen Becky/ Teabaggy feel to it.. and they are selling a Ron Paul item so I will just stay away.. Just the way I feel about it.. Sorry for the Politics.. But the link started it.. lol I LOVE APMEX!
First off.... Whoa.... Secondly, That is actually not as unreasonable as it might first appear if you are talking about bullion products. If bullion dealers had a full returns policy on bullion products, we would be inundated with demands for refunds from idiot customers every time there was a dip in the relevent PM market because a lot of people seem to think that we have an obligation to make their investment totally risk-free at our expense. For numismatic items, this is less reasonable, as effectively this means that if you got a coin that was overgraded or fake, TS. We've got your money and there is nothing you can do about it, except sell it back to us at whatever discount we deign to offer you.... That isn't the policy of a reputable coin dealer...
pale ridder, I'm willing to listen. I'm wondering how much you have dealt with them before? How much did you buy from them? I know some people are good business people but know jack about making a website. So, they do the best that they can. Otherwise, they'd have to hire someone to make a flashy website for them....which would add to the costs of their bullion/coins. So, it isn't flashy and you don't go WOW....who cares? What matters is that you are satisified with the coins/bullion you purchased from them and you got a good price. Flashy Wow can kiss my......
That site isn't flashy in the least bit, tacky perhaps... At least the links work and the images load.
Looking through the HTML code on the page it looks like there is code in there from 1999. In 1999 that WAS a flashy website.
Hey, if they bought their gold in 1999 (when the site may have been built), then they can afford to sell gold at a discount!
You guys all make gr8 points and of course its where one feels the safest spending there $. I have seen many places that will sell cheap but i cant afford 5oz of gold or 500 ASE at a time.I have not dealt with her for long but have a friend who has and has felt he never got taken.
