    I did not. I got as an unidentified “ancient” from a CT user here, which didn’t take me long to ID. yes, it is uniface.

    I can’t attest to where the other user received it - all I know is that it was a generous gift and I really really like it.

    I deliberately posted it upside down for that thread (see link, and read on).

    Silly, indeed. Wanted to post it as a teaser for the Ancients people, though I already suspected it was Early Modern.

    I never knew the exact attribution, but was getting close. I was sniffing around the German States in the right general era.

    So it appears you might have solved the mystery and vindicated my hunch, though I hadn’t gotten any farther than Hamburg at the time.

    1622 Regensburg - uh - Ravensburg, huh? So about 50-100 years older than I was guessing, then. But definitely not ancient, as I had already deduced.
