Interesting investment strategies, and for you Stock Market peeps, I'm sure that he owns at least one of the stocks that you own! Oh, he owns a little GLD as well, talk on that is at around 8:30! Just sharing as I no longer own any stocks not since retirement. I only own physical gold and other PM's and a little crypto!!

Actually, like most people I'm making more money off of my retirement than if I was still working, plus I own some crypto. Not sure why I got the snide remark today at all, seems like a pattern for you. Sometimes it's best to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt!

 

do tell. if you aren't making money off of the market, how do you make interest?

 

Interest is paid by banks, dividends are paid on stocks, profits are gained on crypto. Basically, your comment sounded to me like I retired and now I'm living off of interest from a bank and since banks are not paying much interest, I would be SOL.

 

I used interest as a generic term. Since you aren't in the market we knew you aren't living off of dividends or stocks gaining value. why be so cryptic?

I don't, I'm not a rich guy at all and on occasion you'll see me flipping a gold coin here to change into crypto. Looks like I mis-understood you previously, hopefully we can move onward!

 

I was just curious maybe you had some other vehicle for income I hadn't considered like rentals or something

 

Or like many of us old-timers get $ from a (endangered species) small corporate or (me) SMALL govt pension...which are invested in Wall St. products. I started a small business investing a huge amount of personal annual-targeted retirement cash to purchase specialized equipment starting 10 years before retirement date.
