I remember the day I bought these. It was 9 years ago and it was the first time I went to this LCS. The online reviews were not the best but not terrible either. I looked around and found a few nice coins at decent prices. Then I asked to look at the 1 Oz. silver. While I was looking he answered the phone. By the time he hung up his wife was waiting on me. What a character! As soon as he hung up she raised her voice at him for leaving me alone. There were 2 other people working that day but to her I was all alone with the silver. You had to be buzzed in and out for the door to open. I pick out these three rounds and she turned and told me they didn’t belong in the bin because they were worth more than spot. Plus their fee which was only a dollar over spot. I looked amazed and told her I didn’t put them in the bin. One of the other employees said they did but she yelled at them. Her husband, the owner, said to sell them to me at spot plus $1.00. She yelled at him for not making more money. The owner came over and finished the sale. He even knocked a few dollars off of the other items I bought and apologized for her. I thanked him but never went back. He advertises himself to be the largest coin store in Pennsylvania. I didn’t think so and I really didn’t care because I never went back. I don’t like being treated like that. Four years later he went out of business. Couldn’t happen to a nicer person. But here are the 3 ounces I did buy.
Reminds me of the LCS near me. Incredibly rude staff and high prices. They have a pretty large online presence though so I guess they do alright. I will never go back.
