Has anyone ever bought palladium? I bought a 1 ounce bar about 4 years ago for $390.00. Just to have....has anyone else ever bought any? What do you think of this metal?

I love palladium, I have a couple research publications with platinum and one with palladium. A few are being reviewed for acceptance right now. I have just around 10 ounces of pure metal and a large amount of palladium chloride.

I'm waiting for the St. Gaudins Palladium High Relief coin to be minted by the US Mint. At $400-$500+ per coin it would be a great buy for a high relief collectors coin. Bruce
Yes it would. It was supposed to be a 2010 issue which would have been great on the heels of the 2009 Gold UHR, but they putzed around last year and it never got off the ground... haven't seen any speculation nor announcements to resurrect it, so right now it's as good as dead.
